Our wonderful landscaper recommended this terrific firm as we were working through the process of re-thinking our hard-and-land scapes. Our first project was to light some expansive stairways leading from the house to the garden area. The lights installed by Karen and her husband Tony are exquisite and completely “make” the environment. From an aesthetic perspective, they appear to float; from a safety perspective, they are critical. The wiring and general mechanics are invisible to the eye. We cannot wait to do the next stage of work with them on our landscape lighting.

My backyard became my oasis in 2016, and Olson Weaver Lighting is partly to thank for that. After having the entire yard re-designed and beautifully landscaped, Olson Weaver gave it the dramatic finishing touch that it needed. It is now a beautifully lit space that I absolutely LOVE! My budget did not allow it to be too over-the-top, but Karen worked with me and suggested ways to add illumination without breaking my budget, while at the same time, making it even more beautiful. The work was done to perfection and on time, and I’m happy to say that everything still works and the lights are still lit! It’s just so pretty! Karen Weaver designed a 40+ fixture landscape lighting system for our house in 2008 in conjunction with a large home and landscape renovation project. Karen’s combined horticulture background and lighting expertise were essential to a successful project. Not only did she know how to effectively accent key shrubs and trees in order to create a dramatic effect, but her plant knowledge also enabled her to create a design that takes into account the particular growth nature and four-season interest of the various plants that were involved.

Karen developed a well thought out design and determined the best way to size and apportion the fixtures to four different low voltage transformers. She personally sited the location and aiming of all the fixtures for the installation crew and provided excellent coordination, project management, and follow-up of all details concerning the project.

It’s been a year and a half since our project was completed, and we continue to hear from Karen on occasion to inquire about how the landscape lighting system is working for us. When she asked if we would consider writing a short note regarding our experience, we were more than happy to do so.

We recently completed a landscaping/pool project at our home in Georgetown. It involved the construction of a pool, spa, and arbor, installation of mature landscaping and exterior lighting. We were fortunate to have Olson Weaver LLC involved in our project.
